WHY – Meat lovers paradise! Skewers, noodles, and amazing Sichuan spice all in one.
As soon as you open the door you will be hit with that signature aroma of cumin and Sichuan spice.
If you can’t handle spicy, don’t worry there is plenty on the menu and the staff will help you.
PRO TIP: View the WHOLE menu on the tablet first, before you start to order. Otherwise, you may be taking home lunch and dinner for the next day. ????
If there is one thing I have to recommend you eat, it is the skewers (see below).
They are one of the many items they they specialise in, and just enjoying them off of their large metal skewer is so satisfying.
Highly recommend coming in a group to fully enjoy a nice selection of everything, just make sure to come on an empty stomach.
SOUR YOGURT DRINK
Ayran is a popular Middle Eastern beverage, especially in Turkey where it’s considered the national drink.
It reminds us a little bit of Indian lassi, just without the common additions of mango or strawberry flavour and sugar.
The drink is so refreshing and light, and perfect to fight the spiciness of the food. ????
MIXED SKEWERS
You MUST try their lamb skewers first.
They marinate the meat with salt, both whole and ground cumin, white pepper, chilli powder, and Sichuan peppercorns. The fat mostly melts away on the grill, leaving caramelised crispy bits that burst in your mouth with savoury juice.
The skewers are always cooked in small batches and served right off the grill. So hot you can still hear the oil sizzling on the meat.
MONGOLIAN LAMB AND NOODLES
Chunks of intensely seasoned lamb with bone served with large pieces of potato in a bowl of hand-pulled noodles and a rich savoury sauce.
If you can’t handle spice, this is one popular option!
